Alan David Custom realizes that there are many clients who only desire custom trousers. Alan David offers a separate trouser collection with fabrics specifically meant to look good as trousers as opposed to just suit pants that can double as a trouser. Trouser prices in this collection range from $165-$295.

Alan David custom trousers come in both dress as well as casual fabrics including wools, corduroys, cottons, linens, gabardines, tropical wools, and flannels. (See the Alan David Fabric Glossary to find out some of our fabric options.)

The array of choices available for custom trousers is incredibly wide and diverse. Almost every detail of the pants can be customized to fit your taste. Your pants can be made with any type of pleat -- single, double, triple, box, inverted -- or with no pleats at all. The trousers can receive normal side pockets, jeans pockets, western pockets, deep pockets, or even specialty pocket-watch pockets. The trousers can also be fully-lined, half-lined, or unlined, and they can be equipped with a hugger waistband (a plastic adhesive that lines the waist and grips the shirt, keeping it tucked in).

Additionally, your custom trousers can be designed after any number of styles. For instance, a popular European style replaces the zipper fly with a button fly and swaps the traditional belt loops for adjustable side tabs. Of course, for special occasions, Alan David can also design tuxedo trousers.
