If there is one thing to emphasize about Alan David it is our passion to execute the perfect fitting garment. At Alan David you will be measured by bespoke tailors with a minimum of 25 years of experience. Your measurements are then sent to our legendary patternmakers who draft a hand cut pattern individualized to fit & flatter your body. Our measuring techniques and pattern-making skills have been time tested over four generations ensuring a perfect or close to perfect fit the very first time.

Due to the fact that all custom sport coats are Made in the USA our lead times are quite short. Custom blazers & sport coats take 4 weeks to construct. A two-week and even 10 day rush service is available most times during the year. See below for a detailed summary of our pricing.

Our sport coat & blazer selections come from a vast library of fabrics specifically intended for sport coats. The fabrics are not just basic suit fabrics that can be worn as jackets, even the basic solids hold deep and subtle textures bringing the most classic colors to life. Great sport coat mills include Loro Piana, Zegna as well as a wide array of English mills sourced and available exclusively at Alan David. We pride ourselves in offering elegant luxurious jacket fabrics in any look you need from lightweight silk & wools to year-round wools and twills all the way up to elegant cashmeres. The fabric selection is deep and our expert sales staff will guide you through the all Important selection process.
